Privacy report
People sometimes worry that an assistant like Atlas copies their inbox, or that someone at Atlas reads it. Here is what actually happens, in plain words.

No. Your email stays in your Google account. Atlas asks Google for messages when a feature runs for you, such as opening a message, Inbox Review, the morning brief or the dashboard's one-line summaries. It keeps what those features make, like a summary, and never the emails you receive.
No. Our admin screens show account details: your name, email address, sign-in dates, whether Google is connected, and error reports when something breaks. Never your emails, calendar, notes, chats or memories. Google's rules for apps like Atlas also forbid anyone reading your mail, unless you ask us to, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.
No. Atlas sends Google's Gemini models only what a task needs, through Lovable's AI gateway. What it sends isn't used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
The words of a voice call are saved to your Chat, like a typed conversation, so you can pick it up later or delete it. ElevenLabs, who run voice, keep the call for up to 30 days, then delete it.
Never. Atlas has no ads and no advertising or analytics trackers, and your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
Disconnect Google in Settings and Atlas's access ends at once; what it already made stays until you delete it. Ask us to delete your account and we remove it, with what Atlas stored, within 30 days. Your emails and events stay in Google.

Your mail lives in your Google account. Atlas never downloads your mailbox.
When a feature needs it, such as opening it or Inbox Review, Atlas asks Google for that message over an encrypted connection.
Google's AI reads it to write the summary or a reply you asked for. It isn't used to train AI.
Saved: the subject, the sender and a one-line summary. Not saved: the email itself.
You see everything. The Atlas team sees what it needs to run your account, and nothing from your mail.

“No” means none of Atlas’s screens shows it to us, and our rules and Google’s forbid looking any other way. The only exceptions are the ones Google allows: you ask us to help with something specific, it’s needed for security, such as stopping abuse, or the law requires it.
Only what its features need. Your mailbox isn't on the list.
Everything between you, Atlas and Google travels over HTTPS.
The key that lets Atlas reach your Gmail is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Database rules keep every account's data apart from everyone else's.
Accounts that don't use Google confirm each sign-in with a code sent by email.
Atlas's database runs on Supabase, through Lovable Cloud, and is encrypted at rest with AES-256.
The link that connects Google is signed and only works in the browser that asked for it.

A privacy page that only lists good news isn't much use. These are the limits.
Atlas has to read an email to summarise it. For those moments your email is with Google's AI, which is why everything else is kept this strict.
The people who maintain Atlas's database could technically open it, as with any online service. We only do that for maintenance, security or legal reasons, never to read your mail.
Some companies that help run Atlas are in the United States. The Privacy Policy names each one and how your data is protected there.
Google is still reviewing Atlas. Until it finishes, Google shows a warning when you connect your account.
